Immigration Law for Cross-Border Employees - Presented by Evelyn Ackah

Cross-Border Immigration Law is constantly changing and evolving. As employers, you must be fully informed in order to properly prepare and advise your cross-border employees. This business immigration seminar will provide an overview of NAFTA immigration law and provide you with the knowledge to ensure you are in full compliance with the law on both sides of the border.

International Tax Concepts for Cross-border Employees - Presented by Mohammad Ahmad

Employees working outside their home country can expose a company and the individual to a number of taxation issues including personal income tax, social security taxes and corporate income taxes in the host country. This session will go through the basics of some of the expatriate tax issues employees will need to consider for Canada and the United States. It is intended to give you the tools you need to identify and manage tax issues for these cross-border employees.
