How Can an American Open a Business or Branch in Canada?

Business Immigration and Cross Border Business are rapidly evolving as the needs of individuals and companies change due to new laws, health concerns, the economy and the ease of international travel. Canada's government and immigration laws make it a welcoming, attractive destination for American companies and individuals to expand their business or launch a new company.

Many United States business owners are looking north to expand and grow their business. I will do whatever it takes. There will be more to come.
- Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau

  • open a branch location
  • buy an existing business
  • invest in an existing business
  • hire Canadian workers to work remotely
  • outsource work to Canadian companies, aka nearshoring or nearsourcing
  • transfer existing employees to Canada
