Client Success Story: Spousal Sponsorship, Covid and Travel Restrictions
Ackah Business Immigration Law applied for Spousal Sponsorship and Permanent Residence on behalf of our Canadian client and his foreign wife and stepdaughter and received approval from IRCC in December 2019. Unfortunately, our client's plan to bring his wife and stepdaughter to Canada in March 2020 was derailed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and border closures.
Our client tried twice to join his family in their Eastern European country but was stopped by the Covid lockdowns and closed borders. He continued to try and get his family to Canada and failed, and during the process, they all contracted Covid.
We're delighted to share that finally, just over 2 years since their Spousal Sponsorship application was approved, our client is reunited with his family in Canada.

Everything went like clockwork, which is amazing considering restrictions and the amount of documentation everyone has to make right now. We land around 1:45 today.
