We have been using the services of Ackah Business Immigration Law for over 5 years. Evelyn and her team have provided vital and critical help to us in navigating the complicated and ever changing rules on how to bring qualified and talented dancers to Canada as foreign workers to become part of our company. Diversity enriches what we do and these dancers are essential to our artistic success and community outreach. Evelyn’s team lead the application process, take care of all the administration and provides constant support throughout the process. As a small registered charity having this expertise available is instrumental to our success we applaud Ackah Business Immigration for generously supplying their professional services to us pro bono. Their involvement helps us to continue to enrich lives by engaging people in exploring, evolving and promoting the art of jazz dance.

The complex array of regulations in immigration law is a challenge that drew Kim into the specialty of immigration law that she believes is vital to the growth of our country and the economy.
Kim has over 20 years of legal experience, having worked as a legal assistant, including supporting a senior partner at Canada’s largest law firm and also assisted the Associate General Counsel, Oil Sands at one of the country's biggest oil and gas companies. Through her past roles, she has gained valuable experience in corporate/securities, oil and gas and immigration. She thrives in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environments and brings a high degree of professionalism and discretion to her role as office manager at Ackah Business Immigration Law.
As a self-described life-long learner, receiving her Legal Assistant Certificate has assisted Kim in embracing the constantly evolving practice of immigration law. Her commitment to excellence has earned her a reputation for providing superior support to the lawyers, paralegals and clients at Ackah Business Immigration Law.
In her spare time, Kim devotes herself to her second passion, photography. For the past five years, she has volunteered her time to the Calgary YWCA as one of the photographers for their various fundraisers. One of her favourite personal projects was contributing to the University of Calgary/YWCA Photo Voice Research Project. Kim is currently completing a self-published Photo Book.
